This one-day course will address practical topics in statistical analysis. Whether you have primary data from surveys or experiments, or secondary data collected for other purposes, the practicalities of undertaking statistical analyses are the same, and a number of techniques will be covered in this course. These range from analysing tabulations, chi-square tests and confidence intervals to hypothesis testing, ANOVA, non-parametric analyses, correlation and regression. These topics will be demonstrated using Excel, SPSS and jamovi.
