Course overview
This one-day course is aimed at those who need to work with data that have been collected for other purposes or as a by-product of other activities. These secondary data can include government statistics, administrative records, transactional data, or information gathered through digital platforms. The course will explore the opportunities and challenges of using such data, including issues of quality, relevance, and ethical considerations. Practical techniques for sourcing, cleaning and aligning secondary data will be explored.
