This is a Bespoke CAMHS training days for West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust Staff in the CED / Peds department
Course Content
Day 1 : with Becky Smart - Learning Disability Awareness, Autistic Spectrum Disorder Awareness and Self Harm.
Day 2 : with Niamh Knight - Managing complex cases (including dual diagnosis), de-escalation and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)/trauma informed care & brief overview of legal aspect (Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act).

Awareness of working with people with a learning disability and people with Autism. Managing complexity – dual diagnosis and behaviour management and support
